8-year-old girl raped and murdered by three minors from her school in Nandyal, Andhra

An 8-year-old girl was sexually abused and murdered by three underage boys in the Indian state of Nandyal. The incident occurred on Sunday in the village of Mucchumarri and was reported on Wednesday.

According to police, the boys, aged 13 to 17, attended the same school as the girl. The accused allegedly took them to a remote location under the pretext of taking them to a new playground.

The girl, a third-grade student, was subsequently sexually abused by the accused and later thrown into the canal.

The victim’s father filed a missing person report on Sunday. The police took all three defendants into custody and investigated the case based on a confession by one of the defendants.

The girl’s body has not yet been found. Locals protested and demanded severe punishment for the accused.
