Huntington Station pastor arrested for sexually abusing 15-year-old girl

A 71-year-old Huntington Station pastor was arrested Thursday on charges of sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, Suffolk County police said.

Police say Clinton Bucknor sent the minor an inappropriate photo and text message and had sexual contact with the teen in the church basement in March 2024.

Bucknor works at the Huntington Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He is accused of sexual abuse, endangering the welfare of children and criminal solicitation.

Bucknor is being held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Friday.
