North Las Vegas police officer in critical condition due to illness

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) – FOX5 has learned that a North Las Vegas police officer was hospitalized Wednesday.

According to police, the officer suffered complications due to a “duty-connected” illness. They told us this was not related to a current police operation or the heat.

He is currently at Sunrise Hospital after being transported from MountainView.
