Need Food and Water? Here’s a list of food distribution events happening in Houston

Houston, Texas – Hurricane Beryl left thousands of people in the Houston area without food or water after losing power.

Today, communities are coming together to provide basic necessities to those in need during these difficult times.

Here is a list of locations distributing food/water in the Houston area:

Wednesday July 10

• Councilmember Tiffany D. Thomas, in collaboration with Alief ISD, West Houston Assistance Ministries, Houston Food Bank, Heads Up Houston, Bethel’s Heavenly Hands and Church Without Walls at Eldridge – Alief Crump Stadium, 12321 High Star Dr at 10 a.m.

• Houston Food Bank – Acres Homes Multi-Service Center, 6719 W Montgomery Rd. at 2 p.m.

• Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church – 3006 Kashmere St. from 3 p.m.

• Good Hope located at 3015 N MACGREGOR from 3 p.m.

• Walmart Operation BBQ Relief Mobile Kitchen located at 121 TX-332, Lake Jackson, TX 77566 from 12pm and 4pm
