Police find man suspected of murdering three women in crossbow attack in UK – The Irish Times

Triple murder suspect Kyle Clifford has been tracked down after the wife and two daughters of a BBC racing commentator were killed with a crossbow.

Clifford (26) was found in the Enfield district of north London on Wednesday afternoon, Hertfordshire police said.

He is receiving medical treatment after being found with injuries.

Police said no shots were fired.

Clifford was wanted in connection with the deaths of Carol Hunt, the wife of BBC racing commentator John Hunt, and their two daughters Hannah and Louise in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Crime Unit, said: “This continues to be an incredibly difficult time for the families of the victims and we ask that their privacy is respected while they come to terms with what has happened.

“The investigation is progressing rapidly and the victims have yet to be officially identified. The premature release of the names of possible victims has caused great upheaval among the family, even though they should have been given the space to come to terms with their sudden loss.

“After extensive investigations, the suspect has been identified and no one else is currently being sought in connection with the investigation.” – PA
