Questions surrounding two bodies found in Taylor County

Two bodies were recently found in Taylor County. The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office has released few details.

The next of kin have been notified, but the names of the deceased have not yet been released by the office.

“No danger to the public”

On Wednesday, Sheriff Ricky Bishop said the two bodies were found in South Taylor County, but he wanted to reassure citizens that “there is no danger to the public.”

Bishop did not disclose how the two people died or where exactly they were found, but he said an autopsy would be performed on both bodies.

When asked about gender and age, Lt. Mardi Hargis of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office responded with the following statement: “This is an ongoing investigation, no foul play is suspected. Detective Donnell is the lead investigator on this case.”
