Reston assault investigated by Fairfax County police

Fairfax County police were called to a home in Reston early Tuesday for an assault that was deemed domestic in nature.

RESTON, VA – Fairfax County Police are investigating an attack that occurred early Tuesday morning in Reston.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 2300 block of Freetown Court around 3:45 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man who police said had sustained non-life-threatening injuries consistent with a stabbing. The victim was treated at the scene and did not require transport to the hospital.

According to the police report, investigators concluded that it was a domestic assault and that several people were involved.
