ABC-7 First Alert: Severe storm potential with gusty winds and persistent dust development

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – We remain under the ABC-7 First Warning as gusty, dusty winds and an increased chance of rain are expected this afternoon.

The risk of severe storms remains today. Rain chances will increase to 40-50% today, with humidity increasing in the late afternoon and early evening.

The wind will pick up again today.

Temperatures will remain just above 35 degrees Celsius throughout the region, with highs of 35 degrees expected in El Paso and 35 degrees in Las Cruces.
