Car thefts are being investigated by Sewickley police

Sewickley police are investigating several thefts from vehicles early Tuesday morning.

Officers are asking residents in the Nevin Avenue, Hopkins Street and Blackburn Road areas to check their home video surveillance systems for any potential clues between 1 and 4 a.m. Residents can contact officers at 412-473-3056 with any information.

The department asked residents to lock their vehicles and remove all valuables, especially weapons.
