EL CAJON, CA (July 10, 2024) – Three people were injured in a two-car crash that sent one car crashing into the backyard of a home just off the 8 Freeway and Mollison Avenue.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on July 8. One car, possibly traveling at excessive speed, struck another, causing the second vehicle to spin out of control. The out-of-control driver then drove down a hill and overturned in the backyard of a home.

Shortly afterwards, paramedics arrived and took three people from the overturned vehicle to a hospital with moderate to severe, but not life-threatening injuries.

No one reported any damage in the first vehicle.

After the accident, the California Highway Patrol investigated the scene, believing that speed was likely a factor.
