Man found seriously injured downtown, Pittsburgh police say – WPXI

PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man was found seriously injured downtown early Wednesday morning.

At around 3 a.m., officers were called to Cherry Way at First Avenue. They found an unconscious man with serious injuries to one eye and the back of the head.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, he was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, where he remains intubated and unable to speak to police.
