Channel 2 Action News I spoke to state tourism director Jay Markwalter to get some ideas for fun activities for locals this summer that don’t cost a fortune.

“Whether it’s theme parks or water parks, our partners offer exciting seasonal offerings,” Markwalter said. “Our national parks offer spectacular opportunities to enjoy Georgia.”

The Explore Georgia deals page features discounts on local attractions, all starting at $10 or less, like two-for-one discounts on mini-golf or links to free tickets and a Chick-fil-A walking tour.
