A 41-year-old man was shot and wounded on Grant Street in Buffalo

The shooting happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. in the first block of Grant, police said in a news release.

The 41-year-old victim, who was shot multiple times, was taken by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police have not announced any arrests.
