PepperTree Apartments resident caught driving with suspended license

A resident of PepperTree Apartments was arrested after being caught driving without a license.

Micheal Anthony Williams Sr., 26, who lives in the Wildwood apartment complex, was driving a black Dodge pickup truck down Main Street just before 5 p.m. Friday when an officer noticed that the tail light on the passenger side of the vehicle was not working, according to a Wildwood police report.

During a traffic stop, the officer discovered that Williams’ driver’s license had been revoked several times for failure to pay traffic fines and unpaid court-ordered financial obligations.

He was arrested for driving without a license. He was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $150 bail.
