City of Marlin takes “no action” after investigating animal shelter

MARLIN, Texas – After weeks of conducting its own internal investigation into the events at the Marlin Animal Shelter, the city announced during Tuesday’s city council meeting that it would take “no action” based on the results of the independent investigation.

The city council discussed the matter in a closed session and then informed residents that no action would be taken.

The Texas Rangers are still conducting their own investigation.
