Three people arrested in connection with fatal shooting in Twin Falls

Twin Falls police said July 8 that three people were arrested in connection with a shooting that killed 35-year-old Miguel Lawrence Garza.

BOISE, Idaho — Three people have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Miguel Lawrence Garza in Twin Falls.

Twin Falls police said in a news release Monday that they arrested three suspects and found the two vehicles they were looking for in early July. Police are not currently looking for any additional suspects.

The department listed the names of the suspects and the crimes they are accused of:

  • Dustin Aaron Molina, 29: Murder, aggravated assault, destruction of evidence, alteration, concealment, burglary, grand larceny and auto theft.
  • Roberto Miranda Villa, 26: conspiracy
  • Karina Lara Martinez, 22: Car theft

On July 3, at around 7:22 p.m., police said they found a man who had been shot when they were called to the apartments at 645 Fawnbrook Avenue. The man was identified as Garza and taken to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center.

Garza died of his injuries on Thursday morning, authorities said.

On July 4, Twin Falls police said officers were searching for two vehicles in connection with the shooting. Those vehicles were a white Dodge pickup truck and a Ford Explorer SUV.

On July 5, police released a video showing two suspects fleeing the area of ​​the shooting.

Police are still investigating the shooting and said additional charges may be filed.
