Three suspects arrested in connection with Redlands burglary | Inland Empire News

According to Redlands police, three suspects were arrested in connection with a home invasion that occurred on May 12 in the 700 block of Concord Lane in Redlands.

The victims were at home shortly before 1 a.m. when several masked assailants kicked in a back door of the apartment building, set off the alarm system and confronted the residents.

One of the residents tried to fend off the intruders with a stick.

The intruders went upstairs, woke the couple’s adult son and forced him to go down the stairs.

The perpetrators left the house after a few minutes without taking anything with them.

One of the residents was injured when she tripped and hit her head while trying to escape the suspects and was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

On July 2, detectives located and arrested 25-year-old Rashawn Jamar Jefferson of San Bernardino during a traffic stop in that city.

All three suspects are believed to be members of a burglary squad targeting luxury residences throughout Southern California.
