Atlanta Braves vs Arizona Diamondbacks Game Thread

The Atlanta Braves face the Arizona Diamondbacks after their dramatic extra innings victory last night.

Tonight’s game will feature a battle of top-tier pitchers. Of course, that seems to happen quite often with the top three pitchers currently in the Braves rotation. Tonight, Diamondbacks ace Zac Gallen will be making his third start since returning from injury against NL FIP, WHIP and SO/W leader Chris Sale.

This could be a low-scoring affair between the two teams if each starting pitcher continues as they have this season. Fortunately for the Braves, Arizona’s bullpen has the sixth-worst ERA and fifth-worst xFIP so far this season in MLB.
