BPD makes arrest in connection with homicide at Young and Ashley streets

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Police Department announced an arrest has been made in connection with a homicide Friday evening at Young and Ashley streets.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of ​​Young and Ashley streets shortly before 9 p.m. Friday.

Police said Quentin Sims, 31, of Buffalo, was shot and killed.

Police charged Timé Thomas, 30, of Cheektowaga, with one count of second-degree murder on Thursday.
