BOLO Alert issued for wanted man in Wayne Co.

WAYNE COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) – Wayne County Emergency Management (WCEM) has issued a BOLO Alert from a man who was reportedly fleeing an attempted arrest.

According to WCEM, Nathan Oates is wanted by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department.

Oates reportedly ran on foot during an arrest attempt on Maynor Creek Drive near Highway 63.

The man is described as being about 6 feet tall and weighing about 165 pounds.

Oates was last seen with one hand cuffed.
