Bank robbery in Dover under investigation

DOVER, Delaware – Dover police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday morning.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., a suspect entered the PNC Bank at 3 Loockerman Plaza and wrote a note on a deposit slip demanding money from the teller. The suspect gave the note to the teller, who allegedly gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled westbound on foot, taking the note with him.

The suspect is described as approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a white shirt, dark shorts, a dark hat, and a cloth surgical mask. Surveillance footage is not currently available.
