Play day with Explore and More and Beau Fleuve

BUFFALO, NY — Explore & More Children’s Museum and Beau Fleuve Music & Arts are teaming up again for Play Day.

The event will take place on Sunday, July 14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Explore and More Children’s Museum.

The organizations said the day will allow more families and children to experience the museums, as tickets will be priced at $8, $10 or $13, the regular price. There will also be 400 free tickets available at select community centers on Buffalo’s East and West Sides. Those tickets also include a $5 meal voucher for the Low Bridge Café. Those tickets are already being distributed.

“This is an intentional effort to ensure that our East and West Side communities have access to Explore & More,” said Lindsey L. Taylor, founder of Beau Fleuve Music & Arts. “Through our partnership, we want to help in every aspect.”

And if transportation is also an issue, the NFTA is handing out 100-day passes to make it easier for families to visit the museum on July 14. These passes will also be distributed at select community centers.

“Play Day” will also feature five young entrepreneurs through Buffalo Kid Entrepreneurs.

Last year, more than 900 children and parents took part in the play day, more than half of them for the first time.
