According to reports, teenagers in Los Gatos threw hot dogs at passersby

July 1

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 6:48 p.m. at Willow Street Pizza on South Santa Cruz Avenue. An unknown number of juveniles were on the second floor of the building throwing hot dogs. The caller stated this was an ongoing problem.

2nd July

CAR BURGLARY: 1:56 p.m. at the corner of New York and Pleasant Avenue. A caller reported that her ex-boyfriend’s brother stole her purse from her car. She said he had been stealing from her for 18 years but had no proof that he stole the purse.

4th of July

VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL LAW: 4 p.m. at the corner of Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and University Avenue. A passenger in the back seat of a car allegedly fired a water pistol at passersby that looked like a black pistol.

JUVENILE DISTURBANCE: 8:46 p.m. on Escobar Avenue. A caller reported approximately 20 high school-aged individuals carrying bottles, possibly underage drinking.

GRAND THEFT: 3:42 p.m. on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road. A person rented a room, stole the air conditioning unit and disappeared.

July 6

GRAND THEFT: 12:11 p.m. at Lark Avenue and Highway 17: A man began throwing gold jewelry at the victim and demanding money. The victim took him to a Wells Fargo ATM and made multiple withdrawals of $300 each time.

7 June

TEEN DISTURBANCE: 8:53 p.m. on North Creek Trail. A group of youths were throwing rocks at passersby.
