Cheektowaga man charged in fatal shooting on Buffalo’s East Side

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Cheektowaga man has been charged in connection with a fatal shooting on Buffalo’s East Side last month, Buffalo police announced Thursday.

Authorities said Timé Thomas, 30, was charged with second-degree murder.

The shooting reportedly took place at Young and Ashley streets around 8:50 p.m. on April 26, where officers found the victim, Quentin Sims, 31, of Buffalo, with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
