LaSalle County man dies in fireworks accident

LaSalle County, Illinois – (Effingham Radio) – A LaSalle County man has died after an accident involving illegal fireworks.

The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred early Friday in the 3000 block of East 12th Road between LaSalle and Ottawa. The victim was found injured at the scene and taken to the hospital, where he died.

An investigation is ongoing.
