30-year-old man arrested for alleged sexual assault of woman in Bronx: NYPD

THE BRONX, NY (PIX11) – According to authorities, police arrested a man in the Bronx at the end of June for allegedly sexually assaulting a sleeping woman.

Claudio Miranda, 30, is accused of breaking into a home near Eat 230th Street and White Plains Road around 4:30 a.m. on June 29, police said. Inside the home, he performed sexual acts on the 20-year-old victim while she was sleeping, according to sources.

Police said on Monday that Miranda was charged with the following:

• Burglary
• Criminal sexual act
• Bribery of a witness
