Police operation reported on the I-264 Broad Creek Bridge in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Virginia – Those traveling on Interstate 264 in Norfolk can expect traffic delays Tuesday morning due to police activity in the area.

According to a warning from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the flood is occurring on the Broad Creek Bridge on the Elizabeth River, not far from the Military Highway exit.

The VDOT alert said the eastbound right median, right lane and right shoulder were closed.
