999 emergency services close off road after incident near Blythswood Square

999 emergency services cordoned off a road in Glasgow following an incident near Blythswood Square.

On Monday 8 July, several fire engines were photographed in West Regent Street at around 10pm.

A long piece of barrier tape was stretched between the Blythswood Hotel and the building opposite on the other side of the street.

Firefighters were seen entering and exiting a building and leaving some household items on the floor.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Police have been contacted.
