Penn Yan man arrested after domestic incident in village that prevented victim from calling 911

Penn Yan police arrested a local man following a domestic dispute. Conner R. Subeh, 26, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, false imprisonment, criminal damage to property and harassment.

Police allege Subeh subjected a resident to unwanted physical contact in front of two children. During the incident, Subeh took the victim’s phone to prevent an emergency call and restricted the victim’s movement inside the home.

Subeh was taken to the Yates County Jail to await arraignment and an order of protection will be requested against him.
