Shooting in southeast Las Vegas leaves one dead

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (FOX5) — Metro is investigating a fatal shooting in the East Valley tonight.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Monday at the Town and Country Manor Apartments near Desert Inn Road and Boulder Highway.

Police said a man was shot but died of his injuries and the suspect has not yet been identified.

LVMPD says a press conference will be held on Monday at 11 p.m.
