Another WWE star threatens CM Punk with the suspension of Drew McIntyre

WWE

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw began with a recap of the events of Money in the Bank, including CM Punk’s attack on Drew McIntyre.

As a result, both McIntyre and Rollins effectively lost their chances to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest, and McIntyre was suspended after the show due to an outburst of anger.

Tonight, Punk asked production to remind fans of the events after the show, where McIntyre stormed the panel and eventually attacked Raw GM Adam Pearce.

CM Punk pointed out that he was responsible for the consequences and made a compelling case for the way he has caused trouble for Drew McIntyre so far.

Punk said he was fined $25,000 for his interruption at Money in the Bank, which he said was a wise use of the money.

Despite the fact that McIntyre is suspended, CM Punk called on Adam Pearce or someone else to respond to his immediate request – to bring back Drew McIntyre.

Instead, he was greeted by Seth Rollins, who walked purposefully to the ring while Punk temporarily fled to the commentary desk.

After a contemptuous exchange of blows between the two, Punk was finally tricked into getting back into the ring.

Rollins accused Punk of “gaslighting” and described him as someone who was unable to take responsibility for his actions.

Rollins added that actions have consequences and wanted to remind CM Punk that he is not the center of the world.

Rollins objected that by costing Drew McIntyre a chance at the World Title, he was also hurting Rollins himself.

Punk apologized, but the apology was ultimately not very convincing, which led to a threat from Seth Rollins.

Rollins told Punk:

“If you are acquitted, you cannot even say the name Drew McIntyre before I break your arm and put you back on the bench.”
