MPD: Group of robbery suspects arrested after police chase

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police say four robbery suspects are in custody following a chase through the Bethel Grove neighborhood Monday night.

Dispatchers informed officers that at 7:42 p.m. a person had been robbed in the area of ​​Trezevant Street and Airways Boulevard.

When police arrived on the scene, they found an SUV that matched the description of the robbers’ getaway vehicle.

According to police, after a short chase, the four occupants of the car jumped out and fled to the area of ​​Kimball Avenue and Labelle Street, but were caught a short time later.

The identity of the suspects is currently unknown.
