2 people arrested in Orlando shooting that leaves 4-year-old girl injured – WFTV

ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police have identified and arrested two people involved in a weekend shooting that left a 4-year-old boy injured.

On July 6 at around 12:15 p.m., police responded to a call of a shooting in the 700 block of Oxalis Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a 45-year-old man with numerous gunshot wounds and a four-year-old girl who had been shot.

Both victims were taken to hospital and are expected to recover, police said.

Two other victims were at the scene but were not injured by gunfire.

Marvin Antonio Paguanda Sanchez was arrested by officers at the scene.

Sanchez, 39, is charged with tampering with evidence and two counts of aiding and abetting, a first-degree felony.

Yasmi Lidieth Matamoros-Mendoza, 34, left the scene of the accident and was tracked down by the United States Marshals Service in Louisiana.

Navarrete was charged with attempted premeditated murder, robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm, among other things.

No further information has been released so far.

Investigators believe the two suspects may have been involved in other robberies or shootings.
