QUEBEC – Two former Quebec junior hockey players have been sentenced to prison for sexually abusing a minor at a hotel in June 2021 following a Victoriaville Tigres championship celebration.

21-year-old Nicolas Daigle was sentenced to 32 months in prison, while 21-year-old Massimo Siciliano received a 30-month prison sentence.

The couple pleaded guilty last October to sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl in the early hours of June 6, 2021, while Daigle also pleaded guilty to two counts of filming the act and showing a video of it.

The victim, whose identity is protected by a publication ban, was an employee of the Quebec City-area hotel where the team was staying during the 2021 playoffs.
