Police seek men in connection with Market Street attack that left victim seriously injured – NBC10 Philadelphia

Philadelphia police have released new surveillance video footage in hopes of locating two men who allegedly assaulted and beat another man last month, leaving the victim with serious head injuries.

According to police, the two men are wanted in connection with an incident that occurred on June 19, 2024 at around 11:56 p.m. along the 2600 block of North Broad Street in North Philadelphia, when they both approached a man from behind and attacked him.

Law enforcement officials posted online a video of the incident, as well as footage they said shows the men suspected of the crime, taken the same evening.

Police officials did not provide any further information about the victim’s identification, but said he was knocked to the ground and remained lying there after suffering severe traumatic brain injury.

The two men believed to have been involved in this incident were described by police as a man of slim build and dark skin who was wearing very dark clothing and a white mask at the time of the attack, and a man of medium build with light skin who was wearing a blue hat, black T-shirt, black shorts and sneakers during the attack.
