1 dead and 1 seriously injured in accident on I-285 in DeKalb County

DUNWOODY, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – Police are investigating a fatal crash Monday morning on I-285 in DeKalb County.

It happened on I-285 West before Chamblee Dunwoody Road (Exit 30). GDOT has confirmed that one person died and another was seriously injured.

All lanes except one are closed during the accident investigation. Drivers should take an alternate route to avoid delays.
