High water levels reported on Houston area roads as Hurricane Beryl hits

HOUSTON – Heavy rains from the outer bands of Hurricane Beryl are impacting the Houston area, leading to some roads reporting high water levels.

KPRC FLOOD TRACKING 2: Be alerted if flooding occurs in your immediate area

KPRC 2 urges residents to “turn around, don’t drown” if they encounter some of these roads, but we also warn drivers before they exit.

Here is a list of places where the waters are high by Houston TranStar:

  • IH-69 Southwest Northbound at Dunlavy Right shoulder, right lane, center lane

  • Beltway 8-South Westbound Before Almeda/FM 5213 Frontage Road Lanes

  • The Westpark Tollway eastbound exit ramp at Beltway 8 is closed
