Bush fire, vehicle fire, accident reported by Indiana County emergency number 911 on Sunday

Sunday was a busy day for Indiana County first responders.

Elderton Fire Service were called at 6.11am to reports of fallen utility lines on Wood Road in Armagh Borough and an automatic fire alarm was sounded at 10.55am on the 3rd.rd Avenue in Cherryhill Township, which brought the Clymer Fire Department to the scene.

At 2:15 p.m., Indiana County 911 reported a brush fire along Route 210 in North Mahoning Township. Perry Township and Plumville fire departments responded to the call. Details on how the fire started and the amount of damage caused were not released. This is the 33rd day of the fire.rd Wildfires in Indiana County this year.

At 3:18 p.m., a vehicle fire was reported on Route 22 East in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde, Armagh and Black Lick fire departments were initially alerted, while the Blairsville Fire Department was called to the scene to assist approximately half an hour later.

A car crash was also reported on Route 119 North in Rayne Township. Marion Center firefighters were called at 10:08 p.m. along with state police and ambulance, and Plumville Fire Department arrived to assist at 10:21 p.m. Marion Center firefighters said on the department’s Facebook page that a vehicle had rolled over and a person was trapped inside the vehicle. No other details about the crash were released.
