Atlanta School Board to Vote Today for Superintendent Finalist – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — After months of searching, the Atlanta school board will vote Monday to elect a new superintendent.

Last month, the board announced that Dr. Bryan Johnson was the sole finalist for the position. Johnson held a series of town hall meetings over the past two weeks to meet with parents and students.

On Monday at 10 a.m., families will have a final opportunity to voice their opinions on the district’s next leader at this month’s board meeting. The Atlanta Board of Education will then vote after the public comment session.

The board meeting will be held at the Atlanta Board of Education Auditorium near Trinity Ave.
