Ruston man killed in car crash

RUSTON, Louisiana (KNOE) – Louisiana State Police Troop F is investigating a car crash that left 20-year-old Owen Robinson dead.

According to police, Robinson was driving north on La 33 when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. Authorities said Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Troop F, it is unknown if restraints were used, and impairment and speed were factors in the accident. Routine toxicology samples were taken and sent for analysis.

This is an ongoing investigation.
