Several people hospitalized after incident in North Braddock

Several people were taken to the hospital following an accident that resulted in a car crash on Hawkins Avenue in North Braddock Monday morning. The crash occurred just after 2:30 a.m. Allegheny County Emergency Services confirmed multiple medical transports from the scene. Neighbor Latosha Williams, who witnessed the crash, said, “The girl was actually taken to the hospital. The one guy was in handcuffs and crying and screaming. I’m guessing that was his brother. And with the other guy, they actually had to get the rescue shears to get him out of the car.” Williams also said she heard of an incident where shots were fired nearby before the crash. State police confirmed they sent units to the scene. Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 continues to check with local law enforcement to learn more about the incident.

Williams also said she had heard of an incident in which shots were fired nearby before the crash.

State police confirmed they had sent units to the scene.
