LFD investigates early morning fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – The Lexington Fire Department is investigating an early morning fire.

According to LFD, emergency crews were called to the 1100 block of Brickhouse Lane around 12:14 a.m. for a structure fire.

When they arrived, they found a burning garbage truck between two houses.

The emergency services managed to extinguish the fire. There was minor damage to both houses.

Investigators are working to determine the cause.
