Houston police seek public’s help identifying people involved in fatal shooting | Texas

The identities of the two deceased victims, ages 17 and 28, are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The third victim, a 28-year-old man, is in serious condition at an area hospital.

Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo of the HPD Homicide Division reported that officers responded to a “shotspotter” call at the above address and found a 28-year-old man unconscious in the driver’s seat of a truck. A 17-year-old man was found unconscious on the ground near the vehicle, and a third 28-year-old man was observed conscious and breathing nearby. All three victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced two victims deceased and transported the third victim to the hospital where he underwent surgery.

Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances of the shooting and would like to speak with the two unidentified black males who were present at the time of the shooting. They are persons of interest at this time.
