One dead in boating accident on Coney Island

According to the NYPD, one man is dead and three others injured after a boating accident occurred in Brooklyn waters Saturday afternoon. The NYPD’s Harbor Unit and FDNY officers received a report of a boating accident just minutes before noon. A small boat with three people on board collided with a jet ski near Avenue X and Gerritsen Avenue, police said. Two people were taken to Coney Island Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
