Reserve inspector suspended for misconduct

Vijayawada: A reserve inspector of police working in the Vijayawada city security department was suspended on Sunday for misbehaving with his female subordinates.

Superintendent of Police PHD Ramakrishna ordered an inquiry into allegations against Reserve Inspector A. Srinivasa Rao of misbehaving with a woman officer of the same department.

The Commissioner confirmed the allegations, took disciplinary action against the reserve inspector and suspended him on Sunday. He ordered further investigation and handed over the case to Crime ACP Sravanthi Rai.
