Silver Alert issued for missing 80-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – A Silver Alert was issued Sunday evening for a missing 80-year-old man from Kansas City, Missouri.

Kansas City, Missouri Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Mbugua Njoroge, who was last seen around midnight on July 7 near his residence in the 100 block of W. 61st Terrace.

According to police, Njoroge suffers from dementia.

Njoroge is described as a black male, 5’10” tall, 170 pounds, with gray hair, brown eyes and a full gray beard. A clothing description was not available.

Anyone with information on Njoroge’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or KCPD at 816-234-5043.
