Air quality warning issued for several counties in Northeast Ohio

CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio – According to the National Weather Service, several counties in northeast Ohio are currently under an air quality warning through Monday.

The warning applies to the following districts:

All persons in the affected counties are asked to limit their time outdoors as much as possible to minimize exposure to potentially unsafe air conditions.

Other tips during an air quality warning include:

“Air quality will be unhealthy for sensitive groups during this time. If you are in the sensitive groups, such as children, the elderly and people with respiratory problems, please be mindful of your outdoor activities and check air quality readings on airnow.gov. Also, sign up for air quality text alerts on enviroflash.info.”
