Kidnapping suspect arrested in Arlington

MEMPHIS, Tennessee – A man was arrested in Arlington by the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in connection with a kidnapping.

On July 6, 35-year-old Tedrick Hall approached his ex-girlfriend outside a restaurant in the city of Arlington after attempting to talk to her outside.

After the victim left the bar, Hall allegedly followed her to her car, who then got into the passenger side of her car and pulled out a gun.

The victim was allegedly forced to drive to a restaurant in Cordova, where she managed to make contact with a family member in the restroom.

The family member alerted Memphis Police, who detained Hall until SCSO officers arrived.

During further investigation, officers discovered a Glock pistol and personal items belonging to Hall in the victim’s vehicle.

Hall was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.
