Pinjore man injured: Pinjore man injured in axe attack | Chandigarh News

Panchkula: A resident of Panchkula was reportedly attacked with an axe and brutally beaten up with blunt weapons over an old rivalry. Police have registered a case. Sunil Kumar, a resident of Pinjore, filed a complaint with the police. In his complaint, he stated that he had gone to meet his aunt in Lehrondi village at around 5.30 pm. At around 8.15 pm, he and his cousin Pinku went to Marranwala village for tea when two persons named Sonu Nolta and Manpreet turned up at the spot. Sonu held Sunil and Manpreet attacked him with an axe. The accused also called some of his friends and they brutally beat up Sunil. The victim was taken to the Sector 6 government hospital where he was given medical treatment. In their report, doctors mentioned 12 injuries on Sunil. Police recorded his statement, registered a case with the BNS at Pinjore police station and started investigation in the case. tnn
