THIS SHOOTING HAPPENED SHORTLY AFTER 2:00 AM THIS MORNING AND WE WANT TO INFORM YOU AGAIN OF SOME INFORMATION. WE JUST LEARNED THAT MILWAUKEE POLICE HAVE RELEASED AN UPDATED STATEMENT STATING THE SHOOTING ACTUALLY HAPPENED NEAR 50TH AND VIENNA AVENUE IN THE ROOSEVELT GROVE NEIGHBORHOOD. MPD ORIGINALLY SENT A FALSE REPORT STATING THE SHOOTING HAPPENED NEAR EDISON AND KEEFE DOWNTOWN. Well, crews performed life-saving measures at the scene, but police say the 45-year-old was dead at the scene. A 45-year-old is dead and a 22-year-old was also injured in a shooting that occurred around 2:20 a.m. July 7 near 50th Street and Vienna Avenue, according to Milwaukee police. The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts, police said. A 22-year-old was also shot. Police did not disclose the severity of the 22-year-old’s injuries. According to Milwaukee police, a 45-year-old man was dead and a 22-year-old man was also injured in a shooting that occurred around 2:20 a.m. on July 7 near 50th Street and Vienna Avenue.

Despite life-saving measures, the 45-year-old was declared dead at the scene, according to police. A 22-year-old was also shot. The police did not say how serious the 22-year-old’s injuries were.
